Decluttering my Life Series #1

Welcome to the first installment of Decluttering my Life Series.

I have been busy gathering my old clothes and unused clothes to be donated.

It feels good to remove clutter from the home.

Minimalism is the way to go indeed.

Declutter Clothes

I don’t need so many clothes. I can’t wear all of them.

I did realize though I was attached to some clothes. I don’t use them but they remind me of an organization or event I was part of. Those shirts served as reminders for those.

So I left those shirts for the meantime. Slowly, I will unload them. I have to remember that the memories will not disappear if I let go of these clothes.

Next stop: clearing away my paper mess.

**

Tip of the day: Set aside 30 minutes to 1 hour this week to look through your wardrobe and get rid of clothes you don’t use anymore or you don’t fit into anymore.

It can bless others indeed and your wardrobe can breathe a bit more after getting rid of the clutter :)

Yes. I believe that decluttering really works. It frees you from unncessary materials at home. At the same time, I’ve read that there is a psychological benefit we gain from it. Keep it up!

I actually do the same thing. But not by routine any way. I do however start my ‘decluttering’ when my room starts to look like a jungle! Lol!

fixing the clutter is a tedious task. You need to get ready for the after shock. Some people even get sick after doing it. So yea, do it at your own pace.

    My family’s old clothes and/or
no longer in use are being collated and given
to my house help. She’ll bring all of them to
their province during her scheduled vacation.
It’s always better to get rid of clutters in the house.

Have similar issues at home…there are loads of clothes that need going to the tip but i just don’t find time yet to sort out. my wife and I have donated to the flood victims in Cagayan and Iligan some few months back, but we still have many to give out, its just that balikbayan box is a bit expensive.

You can also give some to charity shops near you….
